Unending Love
I seem to have loved you in numberless forms, numberless times,
In life after life, in age after age forever.
My spell-bound heart has made and remade the necklace of songs
That you take as a gift, wear round your neck in your many forms
In life after life, in age after age forever.

Whenever I hear old chronicles of love, its age-old pain,
Its ancient tale of being apart or together,
As I stare on and on into the past, in the end you emerge
Clad in the light of a pole-star piercing the darkness of time:
You become an image of what is remembered forever.

You and I have floated here on the stream that brings from the fount
At the heart of time love of one for another.
We have played alongside millions of lovers, shared in the same
Shy sweetness of meeting, the same distressful tears of farewell -
Old love, but in shapes that renew and renew forever.

Today it is heaped at your feet, it has found its end in you,
The love of all man's days both past and forever:
Universal joy, universal sorrow, universal life,
The memories of all loves merging with this one love of ours -
And the songs of everypoet both past and forever.

-Rabindranath Tagore

here's my new blog i'll be updating this one less now

today was fine... i watched lost in translation at ps alone this afternoon .. thought the show was rather draggy at the beginning but later it got more and more interesting and i was 'pulled' into the story.. you know.. that kinda feeling...i don't exactly know how to describe it. anyway then i wanted to get a jigsaw puzzle from jigsaw world for his birthday but the shop was closed and a sign said will be back in 10 minutes.. but i didnt wanna wait.. so i left. went to the esplanade library again looking up some scores ... well i kinda suck at reading scores so i dont know why i was doing that.. and of course i looked up some other musicals.. top hat which was due on feb 3 still wasnt back yet .. which was rather annoying bcos pple seem to keep hogging it. well then so i picked out 2 shirley temple shows and went to look for the silk stockings soundtrack but it wasn't the original movie one (oh yes which reminds me.. i found the original soundtrack for the movie at hmv on my way there ..i must go back and get it). later i decided to check again and found that the person returned top hat!! so i sat around waiting.. waiting ... yeah but after waiting for the librarians to shelve the just returned.. it still wasnt there ..and then my dad called to say he was picking me up..so i had to go and i just borrowed grease and easter parade. oh well... welcome my new music craze---cole porter!

i CAN'T BELIEVE they cut nicole tieri and michael keown from the top 32!! my gosh my gosh ... shocking! i mean, they CAN sing..as in really sing. and i liked them alot man...i couldnt believe what i was watching...anyway i hope to see both of them back next year then... meanwhile, i'm still thankful that not all my favourite pple got cut. there's still
1) john stevens iv
2) john peter lewis
3) katie webber
i'm not sure of the rest of their names... but anyway these 3 stand out because john stevens is my age..and he sounds like buble and frank sinatra (and i found out from idolonfox that he loves frank sinatra..haha), he has a kinda shy look which is the same reason why i like john peter lewis too... the 2 of them remind me of .... CLAY :) oh and i like the boyish girl too. and katie webber reminds me of the atomic kitten girl..(whats her name..) and im sooo sad that theyre splitting up :( !!! oooh my bro just called...

all apricots reserve their right to be eaten
all peaches plead to be savoured
and the apricots and peaches agree that together, they make the perfect dessert
and indeed, they did.
